Eye Bleach for the masses…

It’s a beautiful day in Florida today. Even though it is still April the tempature here is pushing 90 already, minus the humidity and well it couldn’t much better than this. There is a nice breeze blowing and that makes it just about perfect. Since the weather was so great today, I decided to take the family out to the beach for a couple of hours. Great idea right? I thought so also. We loaded up the necessary beach equipment, some folding chairs, towels, a small cooler with water and snacks and even buckets and shovels for Number Two to play in the sand. The ride was a little longer than I expected due to some construction work so by the time we got there it was almost time for lunch. No big deal, I stopped and picked up some sandwiches for lunch.
I got lucky as I pulled into the parking lot and found a great spot near some cleared picknick tables. We all ate and everyone was happy. Of coarse Number One and Number Two were anxious to get to the water. How could you blame them? It was the first trip to the beach this year. We cleaned up lunch and gathered our belongings then headed towards the water. It wasn’t crowded and it wasn’t deserted, it was just about perfect. Notice the theme going here? We found a great spot close to the water and not too close to the other beach goers. Everone got there sunscreen on. Off to the water we went! Yes the water was still quite cool, however that didn’t deter Number One. She went right at it! Number Two and I decided it was a better idea to play in the sand. Most likely I will be taking Number One to the hospital with phenumonia tonight, but she still had fun.
After a while I went back to our spot and The Wife went down to the water with Number One and Number Two. As I was sitting there I realized why they tried to ban thong bathing suits on the beaches of Central Florida. About 2o yards down the beach was a lady that really should not have been wearing one, but decided that it was a good idea anyway. The thong was white, she was whiter, and then tan lines from her normal bathing suit made everything worse. Bottled blonde hair even added something more but I am not sure what. It was like she stepped off the “Red Neck Riviera” and decided to bring her anti-hotness to the beach I was at. Needless to say, I am now looking for Eye Bleach, because the Florida salt water did nothing for me.

No, this is not going to be a post about the wondrous virtues of Spam. This is more of a rant. Yes it is time for me to stand tall on my soap box for all the world to…read?
There is this very annoying commerical that runs on the radio station I listen to (and probably many others also). I usually hear it in the morning on the way to work. It is for a “male” enchancment product. One that claims that it will make you the “Champion you want to be and the champion that she needs”. But wait, there’s more, they will send you the first shipment for free! All you have to do is pay a small shipping and handling fee. Now I am not saying that I don’t believe there product works nor am I saying that it is some kinda scam. I personally don’t care. However, doesn’t this all sound familar though? Something that you probably recieve every day in your inbox? Or in some cases your spam folder. Something that you know is fake and is a scam. So for now all I can do is turn the radio down everytime I hear the radio verison of the bane of internet usage. Spam.
